Job description
Job Description\ N Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
\ N Adheres, contributes, and develops clinical patient pathways to ensure a standardized approach to neonatal medicine.
\ N Rounds with a Neonatal Advanced Practice Provider (APP) on NICU patients, as well as supervising the APP’s attending high risk deliveries.
\ N Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
\ N Act as attending consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization, depending on needs of patients, medical staff, and hospital.
\ N Providers will be the primary educator for the pediatric residents.
\ N Provides appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements;
appeal all denials in atimely manner.
\ N Participates in inpatient rounds and provide appropriate hand-off to the next team.
\ N Establish an outpatientNICU graduate clinic program.
