JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: Neonatology Job Type: Permanent Location: Carrollton, GA Service Setting: Inpatient Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: Ongoing Clinical Shift Schedule: TBD; Days On-Call Shift Schedule: TBD Call Type: Home Call Call Ratio: Shared among 3 Neonatologists PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Premature, critically ill newborns, $ newborn nursery patients Patient Volume: Approx. 1,000 annual births Admissions: Yes Rounding included: Yes Phone Consults: As Needed Case Mix: NICU, newborn care, & neonatal stabilization FACILITY INFORMATION Practice Setting: Level III NICU and Newborn Unit No of Beds: 10 (NICU); 20 (Newborn) Team Structure: 3 Neonatologist onsite Daily support from Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs) REQUIRED PROCEDURES/DUTIES Neonatal stabilization and resuscitation NICU admissions and management Care of critically ill and premature infants Newborn nursery management JOB REQUIREMENTS
