Onsite Stroke Neurohospitalist Locums Job in Alabama Seeking 12 Hour Onsite Shifts with Night Call Jackson and Coker is partnered with a facility in central Alabama that needs Neurohospitalist with Stroke coverage for specific dates this November. They're seeking inpatient 12-hour onsite coverage from 7A-7P Monday - Sunday and night call from 7P-7A doing tele-stroke call for multiple locations. Are you available? Specific Dates of Coverage: Monday, 11/16 at 7AM - Monday, 11/23 at 78AM Details/Requirements : Required: Active Alabama license or IMLC (can process within 24-48 hours once letter of designation is issued through the Compact) ACLS + BLS Certification required Board Certification required (will accept Board Eligible if within 2 years of training) Must be able to cover Stroke Call, strong preference for Vascular Neurology training and/or fellowship Will be onsite physically at one location only + cover tele-stroke + general at 2 other locations in tandem (not very high volume but a consistent minimum of 3 tele-consults / day) Average of 20-25 TOTAL patients seen daily (average of 3-6 tele-stroke calls) Tele calls will vary depending on severity of case, (more severe will require video calls and less will be phone calls) Inpatient APP Support during the weekdays (M-F) from 8:30A-5P generally 100% inpatient followed by call (ER calls & Emergencies); 12 hours per day followed by call Designated Primary Stroke Center The Jackson and Coker Advantage: Join a team that prioritizes your peace of mind so you can focus on patient care.
