JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: L-MD-4 Profession: Physician Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Hobbs, NM Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: Jan 01, 2027 Ongoing Shift Schedule: Mon Fri, 8a 10a & 1p 3p (clinic) On-Call Shift Schedule: 24-hour call, 7a 7a daily (Mon-Sun) Call Type: Beeper Call Response Time: 20 minutes Reason for Coverage: Vacancy - Long-Term Permanent Search Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered by Agency PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 12-13 patients/day FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Support Staff: MAs: 2, PA/NPs: 1-2 PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: No JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC required Licenses: Licensed in NM DEA: Required Certifications: BLS Experience: Independent practice experience required Other Qualifications: Proficiency in Epic EMR Duties & Responsibilities Provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care in outpatient clinic setting. Manage inpatient deliveries and obstetrical emergencies. Perform on-call duties for 24-hour coverage including weekends. Collaborate with hospital staff and maintain patient records in Epic EMR. Work independently with minimal supervision in a low-volume practice.
