JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: A-MD-68451 Profession: Physician Specialty: Hematology & Oncology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Grand Rapids, MI Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: Oct 01, 2025 Dec 31, 2026 Shift Schedule: Mon Fri, 8a 5p Call Ratio: 1:5 Reason for Coverage: FMLA Gap Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adult, Geriatric Average Daily Volume: 10-15 (inpatient), 15 (outpatient) Case Mix: Hematology (benign & malignant), Oncology, Solid Tumor (minor) FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Specialty Backup Available: Radiation Oncology, APPs PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 90-120 days REQUIRED PROCEDURES FNA/Biopsy JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology (required) Licenses: Active MI License or eligibility to obtain Certifications: BLS Duties & Responsibilities Participation on a Tumor Board Orders Tests and Interpret Results Orders Images Prescribes Medications and Treatments Provide outpatient clinic consultations and follow-up care for hematology/oncology patients
