Quick Facts Location: Whiteville, TN (2520 Union Springs Road) Start Date: 09/07/2026 End Date/Duration: 12/05/2026 Shift: Full-time, 40 hours/week Hours/week: 40 Employment Type: Contract Licenses/Certs: Must be at least board eligible Experience: Relevant mental health experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $125.00 Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You ll Do Conduct psychological screenings and assessments based on records and clinical interviews with inmates Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary mental health team, including psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and medical staff Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans Assess inmate adjustment during rounds, including in segregation or confined housing areas Provide counseling, crisis interventions, and mental health evaluations Attend team meetings to coordinate patient care and treatment strategies Ensure compliance with facility procedures and legal standards What You Need Valid unrestricted license, at least board eligible Experience with mental health assessment and counseling Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills Knowledge of psychological counseling theories and techniques Ability to perform duties with professionalism and sensitivity About the Assignment This role is with a leading facility in Whiteville, Tennessee, providing mental health services to inmate/residents.
