Quick Facts Location: Arlington, TX Start Date: February 3, 2027 End Date: May 5, 2027 Shift Schedule: 3-7 shifts per month; 24-hour shifts available Hours/Week: Variable based on shift Employment Type: Contract Licenses/Certifications: Active Texas Medical License, Texas DEA Experience: Minimum 2 years of full-scope midwifery Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $85.22 Benefits Include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You ll Do Provide full-scope midwifery care including labor support, postpartum, and well-woman exams Manage intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage in a hospital setting Support patients throughout labor and delivery, including first assist procedures Collaborate with OB/GYN and NICU teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Document patient care using Epic EMR Support in postpartum care and gynecologic exams across the lifespan Participate in inpatient call coverage as needed What You Need Required: Active Texas Medical License Minimum of 2 years of full-scope midwifery experience Recent first assist experience within the past 2 years Board certification in midwifery Strong communication and patient care skills Preferred: Experience working in a hospital setting with Level III NICU support Ability to handle high-risk pregnancies and postpartum care About the Assignment This position involves providing direct patient care in a full-scope midwifery practice at a well-equipped hospital with a Level III NICU. You will work alongside a dedicated team to support women through labor, delivery, and postpartum phases, with a focus on comprehensive, compassionate care.
