Job description
Fabrication TechnicianUnder direct supervision, fabricates, cuts, and brazes pipes based on general specifications to carry refrigerants.Fabricates pipe systems of various shapes, sizes, and pressures.Ensures proper placement and alignment according to general blueprints and instructions.Brazes fabricated pipes to make the specified product work as designed.Performs a variety of assembly, fabrication, production, and operator tasks.What We Are Looking For:Working knowledge of brazing.Basic understanding of data charts, specification diagrams, and work orders.Able to look at a general diagram and determine fabrication needs to make product work as engineered.Able to determine required equipment and settings. Requires precision control and dexterity.May be required to take related training and/or pass skills tests required for this level.Able to lift up to 50 pounds and remain in a stationary position for extended periods.A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.What We Offer:Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $21.95– $23.05/hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
