Job description
Plant ElectricianPrideStaff is looking for skilled Plant Electricians for a PVC Pipe manufacturer in Modesto, CA! Responsibilities include the following:Performs routine preventive checks and emergency repairs on high-voltage equipment, transformers, generators, and switchgearDiagnoses wiring failures, circuit issues, and control system malfunctions using multimeters and diagnostic toolsRuns conduit, pulls wire, and installs new circuits, control panels, and automation devicesInterprets complex electrical schematics, technical diagrams, and building plans to layout and fix systemsFollows strict safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout, NFPA 70E, and OSHA regulations, while wearing PPEQualifications include the following:2-5 years of hands-on electrical experience in an industrial or manufacturing settingElectrical Apprenticeship certificate or trade school program requiredProficiency with low-to-high voltage systems (up to 480 VAC or higher), programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and the National Electrical Code (NEC)Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 50+ poundsMust be at least 18 years old and able to show proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screeningSchedule: Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (May vary) Pay range varies DOE: $30-$50/HRCompensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $30.00 - $50.00 Per HourAll compensation and pay rates are dependent upon skills and experience.
