Job description
Plumber & Maintenance TechnicianPerform general maintenance, plumbing repairs, and building upkeepInstall, maintain, repair, and replace plumbing fixtures, water, waste, storm, and sewer lines, valves, fittings, and piping, and gas and fuel linesInspect and maintain laundry equipment, pools, pumps, and water treatment systemsPerforms preventative maintenance on plumbing systems and equipmentInspect fire sprinkler booster pumps and maintain compliance documentationIdentify leaks, deficiencies, and other building issues and recommend repairsRespond to maintenance work orders and emergency situationsAssist with HVAC, boilers, and water heating/distribution systemsSupport snow removal, furniture/event setups, parking assistance, and other general maintenance needsMaintain inventory of materials and suppliesOccasionally work evenings, weekends, holidays, snow days, or other off-hours as neededAble to lift 50+ pounds throughout an 8-10 hour dayAble to stand, walk, bend, climb, and perform manual labor for extended periodsAbility to work outdoors and perform grounds/maintenance projectsStrong written and verbal communication skillsProfessional and respectful interaction with students, faculty, staff, vendors, and contractors5+ years of experience in plumbing and general maintenance within a school or similar environmentHigh school diploma requiredValid driver's license with a clean recordAbility to read and understand plumbing plans and blueprintsMust be at least 18 years oldTo apply, send your resume to
