Portfolio Manager Support SpecialistAMSG is seeking a Portfolio Manager Support Specialist to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and provide direct operational, analytical, and strategic support to DHS Portfolio Managers with stakeholder engagement, requirement prioritization, research and development lifecycle management, Integrated Product Team (IPT) coordination, business process execution, and senior leadership communications.AMSG supports a diverse portfolio of programs across the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Defense Health Agency (DHA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Washington Headquarters Service (WHS), and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). AMSG takes pride in fostering an exceptional work environment that inspires collaboration, innovation, and a highly motivated workforce dedicated to mission success.We offer a competitive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, flexible paid time off, referral bonuses) and numerous training opportunities for professional development and growth.Apply today and join our team of talented professionals!Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in business, engineering, public administration, or related field.8+ years of experience supporting federal programs or portfolios.Knowledge of DHS missions and R&D processes.Experience with requirements management and stakeholder engagement.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Power BI, and Tableau.Citizenship: USSecret clearance required.Location: Washington, DC and RemoteStart Date: 1 October 2026Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate DHS Component engagements and IPT activities.Assist with identification and prioritization of RDT&E requirements.Support portfolio reviews and strategic planning activities.Prepare executive briefings, reports, presentations, white papers, and fact sheets.Manage requirements within DHS business process tools and ServiceNow workflows.Coordinate senior leadership meetings and stakeholder communications.Support budget planning, PPBE activities, and funding documentation.Maintain awareness of component projects, requirements, and technology initiatives.Assist with technology assessments, capability analyses, and project transition activities.Facilitate the development of agreements, charters, MOAs, and MOUs.
