Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This post requires carrying a firearm. You will work collaboratively with others and always act with integrity while supporting a secure environment for all individuals on site.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $22.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeMon05:00 PM - 03:00 AMThur05:00 PM - 03:00 AMSat05:00 PM - 03:00 AMSun05:00 PM - 03:00 AMResponsibilities:Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients and visitors.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities as needed.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized access and support a secure environment.Document and report any suspicious activities, incidents, or hazards encountered during patrols.Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when required by site protocols.Minimum Requirements:Possess a valid driver's license in the state where the job is located.You must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state or local regulations.Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program, or have an equivalent qualification.Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.Be at least 21 years of age.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.Perks and Benefits:Health insurance and 401k plans for full-time positionsSchedules that fit with your personal life goalsOngoing paid training programs and career growth opportunitiesEmployee discounts through our perks program to your favorite restaurants, entertainment venues, and much more...ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
