Job description
American Electric Power Co. in Columbus, OH is seeking an Electrical Engineer Principal SG9 to lead electrical design for gas, coal, renewables and new-generation projects. You will define design-basis, review vendor inputs, coordinate with EPCs, and support commissioning and lifecycle activities at multiple sites.
Strong knowledge of protection, grounding, MV/HV systems and interconnections is essential. Required 8+ years of related experience with ABET-accredited degree; PE license preferred.
