Principal Systems Engineer
Location: US-MA-MARLBOROUGH-MA2, 1001 Boston Post Rd, BLDG 2
Role: Onsite
Security Clearance: Secret, active and existing required on day 1.
Responsibilities
Oversee the development of full lifecycle solutions from CONOPS to Validation
Act as a Subject Matter Expert within the discipline with advanced to expert knowledge of the work area
Oversee and perform lab activities including definition, setup, configuration management, and testing
Ensure Modeling, Hardware, and Software interfaces utilize a scalable ontology
Oversee and support the integration of solutions within their target environment
Coach, review, and delegate work of lower-level professionals
Contribute to the development of discipline goals and planning efforts (Cost and Schedule)
Influence others regarding policies, practices, and procedures
Manage moderately sized projects or processes
Manage the entrance and exit criteria of Design Reviews, Integration, Dry Run, and Formal Qualification Testing
Review, moderate, and document major changes in systems or processes to solve difficult and often complex problems
Analyze and document system behaviors
Support system trade studies, requirements analysis, allocation to subsystems
Qualifications You Must Have
Strong integration and test experience including test procedure development, test execution, test reporting, and test automation
Knowledge of or application of Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
Proficiency in tooling including Microsoft products or tasking boards (Jira, IBM EWM, etc.)
Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance required prior to start date
U.S. citizenship required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Typically requires a STEM degree and minimum 8 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience in Communication Radio and Systems: SATCOM, LOS/BLOS, AEHF, PTW, or V/UHF
Experience in Environmental Qualification Testing (EQT)
Proficiency in tooling including CAMEO, Rhapsody
Experience in proposal support including writing Basis of Estimates (BOEs)
Experience in System Level Integration, Verification, and Validation (IV&V) for ground, ship, submarine, or airborne platforms
Experience in Virtual Machine design and deployment
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) and ability to effectively communicate with IPT leaders, hardware and software development engineers, specialty engineers, program managers, and customers

Salary
Salary Range: 107,500 USD — 204,500 USD, based on experience and other factors.
