Job description
A growing lower middle-market private equity firm is looking to hire a Vice President to join its investment team in New York. The firm has a strong track record and an established focus on Industrial and Manufacturing businesses . The team is continuing to grow and is looking for an experienced investor who can step in and take meaningful ownership across the investment process.
The Role:
Work across sourcing, underwriting, execution and portfolio management
Evaluate lower middle-market opportunities across Industrial & Manufacturing
Work closely with senior members of the investment team
Take meaningful ownership of transactions and investment decisions
Join a lean, entrepreneurial team with significant capital to deploy
The Ideal Candidate:
Investment banking + private equity background
Strong M&A and transaction experience
Current VP or Senior Associate ready to step into a VP role
Experience investing in Industrial, Manufacturing or related sectors
Candidates from larger-cap PE platforms looking for more ownership and impact in the lower middle market are encouraged to apply
Strong investment banking candidates may also be considered
NYC preferred; relocation possible for the right candidate
