Job description

Clinical Assistant (BHT)Avery's House is a mental health treatment provider for adolescents. We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and responsible Clinical Assistant (BHT). Experience working with adolescents is preferred, and any additional experience with mental health and substance abuse is beneficial. This position provides daily support to those living in Avery's House structured recovery housing.Our VisionTo provide innovative quality treatment that will fill the gap of services available to adolescents and families, to strive to see every suffering adolescent we treat excel in their home environment and thrive in their community.Our MissionOur mission is to provide a safe place to heal, and to support and educate the adolescent, family, and the community; because they are our future, we will empower adolescents to build coping skills to confidently move into adulthood.Our ValuesCompassion, competence, resilience, optimism, inclusion, acceptance, and FUN!Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesProvide support for adolescents with mental health and substance abuse issues.Establish open lines of communication for individuals.Implement/enforce house rules.Transport clients with company vehicle.Supervise clients on outings.Group facilitation.Maintain cleanliness of facility.Ensure necessary documentation is complete.Other tasks as assigned.RequirementsRequired: Must have a valid Idaho Driver's License in good standing.Required: Must be minimum 21 years of age.Required: Must pass background check.Required: Must pass drug screening.Required: Must be able to climb up and down stairs, hills, bend and lift 25+lbsEnhanced Clearance with Idaho Health & Welfare (preferred- will be required to obtain)CPR and First Aid certification (preferred- will be required to obtain)Current TB test (will be required to obtain)We OfferCompetitive payRewarding experiences helping peopleCareer developmentGrowth opportunitiesDynamic environmentSchedulesWe are hiring PRN staff for both dayshift and overnight. We run 12 hour shifts 6a-6p or 6p-6a and 7a-7p or 7p-7a.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $20.00 per hourSchedule:12 hour shiftDay shiftOvernight shiftPlease Note: Overnight positions are awake shifts. Staff are required to remain awake and alert throughout the entire shift to provide continuous supervision.Education:High school or equivalent (Required)Experience:Behavioral health: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: In person Boise, Idaho
