Job description
Contract Specialist DutiesResponsible for the independent accomplishment of a variety of contractual tasks, supporting contract specialists in pre-award and post-award functions for the DLA Disposition Services Acquisition Directorate.Maintains contract and task order files and performs timely and accurate contract closeout actions to maintain audit readiness.Performs technical work supporting contract specialists involved in the solicitation, evaluation, and award of various types of contracts.Works on invoice problems with contractors and government personnel that may prevent closing out of task orders and contracts.Maintains all files in accordance with established guidelines.Maintains detailed status reports on specific contracts.
