Please note that this full-time position is project based, and employment is expected to end no later than December 2027, in connection with the plant's scheduled relocation.Purpose of Position: Set up, adjust and operate all pre-grind blade making machinery and peripheral equipment to obtain product of acceptable quality.Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Procedures:Set up, adjust and operate machinery and equipment to obtain product of acceptable quality.As required, perform preventive maintenancePerform and record Quality checks.As required, relieve operators.Perform other duties as required.Required Skills and Experience:Must have at least six (6) months of manufacturing experienceMust be mechanically inclined.Must be able to correctly read and interpret instruments and gages.Must be able to calculate basic math.Hands-on experience in general mechanics.Past experience with various hand tools and gages.Good Interpersonal SkillsStrong Communication Skills, both Verbal and Written.Demonstrates quality awareness and attention to details.Demonstrates problem solving and troubleshooting skills.Preferred Skills and Experience:Previous experience in Stamping, Perforating or Heat-Treating a plus.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
