Production SupervisorTarkett is seeking an experienced and strategic Production Supervisor to join our growing team in our Chagrin Falls Manufacturing Plant. In this key position, he or she will effectively lead associates to ensure satisfaction of customer expectations, safety and production requirements while executing the Tarkett strategy and embracing Tarkett's vision, mission, and objectives. The Supervisor will proactively lead, support, train, coach and direct his or her assigned work team to execute operational plans. This role will drive continuous improvement through World Class Manufacturing (WCM) while sustaining effective associate relationships. The Production Supervisor will properly maintain records, reports, and data collection in a timely and complete manner.What This Role Will Be Responsible For:Driving daily schedule attainment and effectively allocate resourcesDefining problems, collecting qualitative and quantitative data to establish facts – taking decisive actionActively monitoring, evaluating, and reporting performance daily on using the Shop Floor Management Tools from WCMTaking full ownership of shift and performance reporting managementEvaluating and coordinating training needs and initiatives of team to drive continuous improvementWorking closely with Engineering and Maintenance to help improve and document production processes and equipment operationProviding coaching and guidance as required, as well as executing consistent documentation within the corrective action processImproving record procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness and ISO requirementsLearning, understanding, and communicating compliance issues related to Company guidelines and union contractParticipating on projects and process improvements in an effort to drive change and improve resultsDemonstrating a hands-on leadership approach to identifying, resolving and communicating resolution of issues across the plantCoaching, developing, and training employeesExperience & Education Desired:Bachelor's degree preferred2 – 5 years of experience in a manufacturing supervisory roleAbility to work four (4) 12 hour shifts (4 on 4 off schedule) night shiftsComputer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, ADP / SAP is a plusAnalyze and interpret product specifications, production schedules, quality documentation, and other process / performance documentation in EnglishAbility to effectively present information, respond to questions, and interact with employees, managers, and peersExperience operating within quality framework such as ISO9001, ISO14000, ISO1800Experience with lean manufacturing and Visual Shop Floor Management experience with handling and prioritizing multiple tasks at the same timeWhat We Offer:A commitment that Safety is #1Competitive benefits including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and paid holidaysLife and disability insuranceCareer growth, stability, and flexible work arrangements.Responsible Manufacturing – Protecting Our Planet for the Future:We utilize renewable energy and a closed loop recycled water process.We are committed to reducing greenhouse emissions and water consumption.We are the only flooring company recognized by the Asthma and Allergy foundation.Who We Are:With a history of more than 140 years, Tarkett is a worldwide leader in innovative and sustainable flooring and sport surface solutions, generating turnover of €3.3 billion in 2025.
