Production SupervisorOur client in the Sycamore, IL area is experiencing rapid growth, supplying essential engineered-to-order products to billion-dollar infrastructure projects and next-generation facilities. These positions play a vital role to ensure safe, efficient production while leading a team to meet objectives and maintain quality standards. It provides opportunities for leadership in process improvements and cross-functional collaboration within a global organization.Anticipate $70,000 - $90,000 annually (non-exempt)Benefits include: Health, Vision, Dental, Life, 401K w/ match5x10s, M-F (50+ hours per week), overtime required (1st shift, typically 5/6am start time)ResponsibilitiesEnforce safety guidelines, conduct walks/observations, and promote complianceSet production objectives, organize workflows, and suggest efficiency improvementsSupervise team, provide coaching/discipline, and conduct performance reviewsResolve production/HR issues, ensure maintenance/repairs, and maintain clean/organized areasEstablish cross-training and ensure adherence to proceduresQualificationsAssociate's degree or equivalent from two-year college/technical school; or 3-5 years related experience/trainingBachelor's degree preferredLean manufacturing backgroundExcellent planning, organizational, leadership, communication, and analytical skillsIntermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Ability to meet physical demands (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing/walking)Keywords: Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Supervisor, Lean Manufacturing, Safety Compliance, 2nd Shift, ISO Procedures, Team Leadership, Process Improvement, Industrial Manufacturing
