* Perform advanced data analysis to characterize device performance, identify systemic issues, and drive long‑term improvements.

* Lead validation and implementation of design changes, ensuring test readiness, documentation accuracy, and process stability.

* Partner with R&D, Product Development, and Operations to guide new product introduction (NPI) from prototype through full‑scale manufacturing.

* Architect and optimize automated test equipment (ATE), fixtures, and software to improve throughput, accuracy, and repeatability.

* Drive yield improvement and cost‑reduction initiatives, identifying failure modes and recommending design or process enhancements.

* Champion best practices in test methodology, statistical process control (SPC), and data‑driven decision‑making.

* Proven ability to diagnose complex test issues and implement engineering‑level solutions.

* Strong background with automated test systems, data acquisition, and statistical analysis tools.

* Deep understanding of semiconductor device physics and optical/electrical performance metrics.

* Excellent communication skills and demonstrated success working cross‑functionally.

Preferred Skills

* Experience with high‑power laser diodes, photonics packaging, or reliability testing.

* Proficiency in test automation programming (Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, C/C++).

* Hands‑on experience with DOE, SPC, FMEA, and other structured problem‑solving methodologies.

* Familiarity with high‑volume manufacturing environments and continuous improvement frameworks.
