The Progressive Care Unit Nurse Manager will oversee a dynamic intermediate care, step-down, and transitional critical care department serving patients who require advanced monitoring and complex clinical support. Reporting to senior nursing leadership, the Progressive Care Unit Nurse Manager will receive collaborative administrative support while maintaining accountability for daily operations and the department’s long-term success. The manager will partner with friendly nurses and a diverse team of physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, therapists, case managers, social workers, educators, and support professionals. Key priorities include mentoring staff, strengthening retention, supporting shared decision-making, promoting a Just Culture, monitoring clinical outcomes, and building an environment in which team members feel heard, respected, and empowered.
