Job description
Tompkins County is seeking a Deputy Director of Finance to help lead Treasury, Purchasing, Accounting, and Payroll. You will support the Director of Finance, mentor staff, strengthen financial procedures, and help County departments make sound decisions with clear, accurate information.
We’re looking for a collaborative leader with strong accounting experience and sound judgment. Government or fund accounting is a plus but not required.
