Quality Auditor (Dimensional Inspector) – Weekend ShiftThe BAE Systems site in Aiken, South Carolina, supporting Combat Mission Systems, is seeking a Quality Auditor (Dimensional Inspector) for its Weekend Shift.In this role, you will use a Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) and other inspection equipment to inspect machined and/or welded components against blueprint requirements prior to shipment to customers. You will also provide quality auditing support to shop floor operations.Note: This position supports Second and Weekend Shift.Required SkillsExperience with and/or knowledge of basic inspection tools, including:CalipersMicrometersHeight gagesScalesOther dimensional inspection equipmentAbility to read, comprehend, and work from engineering blueprints.Ability to support Second and Weekend Shift.Preferred SkillsCoordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) experience.Knowledge and experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).Weld inspection knowledge or experience.Experience with FARO Arm/Laser Tracker equipment.Experience with Keyence inspection equipment.Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent.Typically requires one year of related work experience.ScheduleSecond/Weekend Shift.Candidates must be available to support the required weekend schedule.
