Radiation Therapist – 2 Openings
Location: Valdosta, GA
Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hr Day Shifts. No Weekends!
Salary Range: $88,619 - $116,064 (depending on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $40,000 Relocation Assistance: Available
Blue United Sourcing is seeking two experienced Radiation Therapists to join a comprehensive outpatient cancer center in Valdosta, Georgia. This is a great opportunity for a therapist who wants to work alongside an established radiation oncology team using advanced radiation therapy and imaging technology.
The Radiation Therapist delivers therapeutic radiation under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist and serves as a key member of the treatment team, supporting patient care, treatment documentation, and quality assurance. Candidates with approximately 2–3+ years of clinical experience are preferred, and therapists with strong leadership potential may have long-term growth opportunities as the department plans for succession.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver prescribed radiation treatments accurately and safely under physician direction
Complete simulation and treatment setups with a high level of precision
Maintain accurate treatment records and patient documentation
Collaborate with oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, and fellow therapists
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care
Requirements
Graduate of a CAHEA-approved Radiation Therapy Technology program (or equivalent)
Current ARRT certification/registration in Radiation Therapy
Current healthcare provider CPR certification
Approximately 2–3+ years of experience preferred
Elekta experience a plus, but not required — training provided
