Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Schedule
This is a 13-week contract position. The shift is Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with rotating call responsibilities. Weekday call is from 3:30 PM to Midnight, and weekend call is from 7:00 AM to Midnight on both Saturday and Sunday.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals. The technologist will play a crucial role in patient care and ensure the safe handling of radioactive materials.
Responsibilities
Prepare and administer radioactive drugs to patients.
Perform imaging procedures such as HIDA Scans, PET scans, and MUGA scans.
Monitor patient reactions and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Maintain and manage the storage and disposal of radioactive materials.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine.
Current BLS certification is required.
Preferred certifications include CNMT and ARRT in Nuclear Medicine.
Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility.
