Job description
SECTR Partners are currently supporting a leading veterinary group in their search for a Regional Medical Director to oversee clinics in Houston and Austin.
Responsibilities:
Provide strategic medical leadership and clinical oversight across a network of veterinary hospitals
Monitor clinical outcomes and implement continuous quality improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with state and federal veterinary regulations, licensing requirements, and industry standards
Mentor and support veterinarians and medical staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning
Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and retention of veterinary professionals
Partner with the Regional Operations Director to ensure clinical and business goals are aligned
Requirements:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited institution
Active veterinary license in Texas (or ability to obtain)
Minimum of 8 years clinical experience
+3 years multi-site leadership experience
