A Day in the Life
Be part of the only dedicated stroke unit in northern Michigan , a 29-bed private room unit specializing in the care of patients with neurologic deficits.
As part of a Comprehensive Stroke Center (CSC) designation , we care for a wide range of complex neurological conditions, including: Ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes
Seizure disorders
Headaches and mood disorders
Rare and complex neurologic syndromes
Post-operative neurosurgical care (e.g., thrombectomies, TNK, craniotomies, VP shunts)

What’s Required
Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan
Passion for neurology and high-acuity care
BLS Certification
ACLS preferred
NIH Stroke Scale Certification (to be obtained during unit orientation)
Experienced RNs and new grads with a strong interest in neuro
