About This Role
The Registered Nurse in the Pediatric ICU at Hackensack Meridian Health provides individualized patient care based on evidence-based practices. This role is ideal for nurses who are dedicated to teamwork and delivering high-quality care.

Facility: Jersey Shore University Medical Center
Schedule: Per Diem, Night shift
What You'll Do
Deliver nursing practices according to evidence-based research and standards of care.
Communicate ongoing patient status and care plans with healthcare team members.
Administer medications using advanced bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
Document patient assessments, plans of care, interventions, and evaluations electronically.
Provide patient and family-centered education for health optimization.
Participate in multi-disciplinary discharges to ensure safe transitions of care.
Requirements
Education:
BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire
Experience:
1-2 years of pediatric ICU nursing experience
Licenses & Certifications:
Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license required
BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire
PALS required
IV/port/telemetry certification required
ACLS preferred
APHON certification preferred
National certification in specialty desired
