Mid-Level Remodeler/CarpenterTruBlue Home Service Ally of Western DuPage is seeking a dependable, skilled Mid-Level Remodeler/Carpenter to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone with solid residential remodeling experience who can complete projects independently while working under the direction of a lead technician on larger jobs.Our projects include bathroom and kitchen remodeling, carpentry, flooring, drywall, painting, and accessibility modifications throughout DuPage County and the surrounding western suburbs.ResponsibilitiesPerform residential remodeling and repair workComplete rough and finish carpentryFrame walls, closets, door openings, and other structuresInstall doors, windows, trim, baseboards, crown molding, and cabinetryInstall flooring, including LVP, laminate, and tileHang, finish, and repair drywallPerform minor painting and finishing workAssist with bathroom and kitchen remodelingComplete basic plumbing and electrical tasks within your experience levelInstall grab bars, handrails, ramps, and other accessibility productsRead measurements, drawings, and project scopesPrepare accurate material listsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsiteCommunicate professionally with customers and coworkersDocument work with before-and-after photographsProperly care for company tools, vehicles, and equipmentQualificationsMinimum of 3 years of residential remodeling or carpentry experienceWorking knowledge of framing, finish carpentry, drywall, flooring, and paintingExperience with bathroom and kitchen remodeling preferredAbility to complete common remodeling tasks with limited supervisionAbility to accurately measure, cut, level, and install materialsComfortable using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and jobsite equipmentStrong attention to detail and pride in workmanshipDependable, punctual, and professionalAbility to communicate clearly with customers and team membersValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to lift at least 50 pounds and perform physical construction workMust be able to pass a background checkPreferred ExperienceTile installationCabinet installationDoor widening and accessibility modificationsBasic electrical and plumbingAging-in-place or ADA-related remodelingExperience working in occupied homesWhat We OfferCompetitive hourly pay based on experienceConsistent, year-round workOpportunities for overtimeGrowth opportunities within the companyA professional and supportive work environmentA variety of residential remodeling projectsTraining in accessibility and aging-in-place modificationsScheduleFull-timeMonday through FridayOccasional weekend work may be availableWork is primarily located throughout DuPage County and the surrounding western suburbsThe ideal candidate is a well-rounded remodeler who takes pride in quality workmanship, solves problems effectively, and treats every customer's home with care and respect.
