Job Description
An Insight Global client is looking for a Resident Project Representative to join their team in support of data center construction projects they are involved in. They are needing someone that is a subject matter expert within structural steel / vertical construction. n•tAssist the Construction Engineers with all facets of project executionn•tAssist with the administration of one or multiple construction projects as an owner representativen•tAssist with identifying and resolving design and construction issues in the field.n•tTake part in meetings with client and general contractor.n•tWork directly with the client and contractor to meet the needs of the project.n•tCommunicate with the project team and client throughout the project.n•tOversee the Quality Assurance and Quality Control programs on a project.n•tPresent job progress and issues in meetings with the client.n•tPrepare daily reports for each individual project.n•tReview contractor submittals and respond to contractor inquiries, ensuring that contract specifications are met.n•tReview contractor RFI’s and make recommendations to EORn•tCoordinate with others to obtain responses to requests for information and other submittals from contractors and keeps a log of such requests..n•tPerform other engineering and construction management functions as assigned.n•tCommunicate regularly with PM, HDR field staff, and clients.n•tRead, clearly understand and interpret plans and specificationsn•tPerform other duties as needed
