Job description

Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
Unit Details: 30-40 checks and treatments per day. Patient population includes adults, pediatrics, and newborns; case mix includes STEMI, CVA, COVID, EKOS, cardiac arrest, and IABP. Coverage includes inpatient and outpatient areas, including the ER, floors, pediatrics, L&D, nursery, ICU, sleep lab, OR, and PACU. RTs draw ABGs, occasionally perform EKGs, and assist with intubation rather than intubating independently. RT equipment includes Drager, A40, LTV, and Avea in the nursery, V-60, and Vapotherm devices. Hospitalist or intensivist coverage is in-house 24/7.
Shift & Scheduling: Scheduling requests may be accommodated, but flexibility is required to fill staffing holes. Every other weekend is required. Holiday coverage rotates with permanent staff. Typically, no call is required.
Floating Requirements: No floating to a sister campus.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
