Riggers and Crane Operators NeededLocation: Deer Park, TX (DOW)Project Duration: October 5, 2026 – approximately 2 weeksSchedule: Monday–Sunday | 12-hour shifts (13 days on, 1 day off) Day & Night ShiftWe are currently seeking experienced Riggers and Crane Operators to support an upcoming turnaround project in Deer Park, Texas. This is a temporary project-based opportunity expected to run from approximately end of October 2026.You will support critical lifting operations throughout the turnaround, including mobile crane operation, rigging activities, load handling, signaling, and coordination of safe lifting operations. Mobile crane work will primarily involve cranes rated at 100 tons and under, with some part-time overhead crane operation as needed.We are looking for dependable, safety-focused professionals with refinery, petrochemical, industrial, or turnaround experience who can safely and efficiently support project operations on the night shift.Job ResponsibilitiesCrane OperatorsSafely operate mobile cranes with capacities of 100 tons and under to support turnaround activities.Operate overhead cranes on a part-time basis as needed.Perform pre-use inspections of cranes and related equipment.Follow approved lift plans, signaling procedures, and site requirements.Maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, structures, and potential hazards during lifting operations.RiggersSafely perform rigging activities in accordance with approved lift plans and industry best practices.Inspect rigging equipment including slings, shackles, hooks, spreader bars, and other lifting devices prior to use.Properly select, attach, secure, and disconnect loads for lifting operations.Serve as signal person when qualified and assigned.Ensure loads are balanced and properly rigged before lifting activities begin.General ResponsibilitiesWork closely with crane operators, riggers, signal persons, and other craft personnel to safely position and move materials and equipment.Follow all refinery, project, and company safety policies and procedures.Immediately report equipment deficiencies, unsafe conditions, incidents, or potential hazards.Maintain a strong commitment to safety, communication, and teamwork.Perform other duties as assigned to support the turnaround project.QualificationsPrevious experience as a Rigger or Crane Operator in a refinery, petrochemical, industrial construction, maintenance, or turnaround environment.Experience supporting critical lifts and turnaround operations.Knowledge of load handling, signaling, rigging practices, and lifting operations.Crane Operator QualificationsExperience operating mobile cranes with capacities of 100 tons and under preferred.Experience operating overhead cranes preferred.Current crane operator certification and qualifications in accordance with applicable standards and site requirements.Rigger QualificationsPrevious rigging experience in an industrial or refinery environment preferred.Knowledge of rigging hardware, inspection requirements, load charts, and safe lifting practices.Signal person qualification preferred.Additional RequirementsAbility to read and understand lift plans and follow instructions from qualified personnel.Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively as part of a turnaround team.Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.Must be able to pass all required site safety training, background requirements, and drug screening.Project duration and work schedule are subject to project requirements and may change based on turnaround needs.
