About This Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional who values patient-centered care and teamwork.

What You’ll Do
Assess human responses and plan nursing care for individuals or families.
Provide transformational leadership in a professional practice setting.
Assign or delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff skill levels.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to evaluate clinical care.
Promote patient safety initiatives and participate in quality initiatives.
Utilize the nursing process to implement patient care plans.
Analyze health status and determine patient care needs.
Document changes in patient condition and notify appropriate personnel.
Demonstrate commitment to continuous lifelong learning and professional development.
Participate in department-specific patient satisfaction initiatives.
Requirements
**Education:**
Current State of PA RN licensure or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
**Experience:**
Prior Cardiovascular Operating Room experience preferred.
Prior Operating Room (OR) experience preferred.
**Licenses & Certifications:**
Current RN License in Pennsylvania.
CPR certification required.
CNOR - Certified Perioperative Nurse preferred.
