Critical Care Registered Nurse - ICU
Schedule
This is a 13-week contract position. The shift is 12-hour nights from 18:45 to 07:15.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Critical Care Registered Nurse with recent ICU experience. The nurse will provide specialized care for critically ill patients, utilizing advanced skills and technology in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Provide care for patients with conditions such as DKA, Sickle Cell, Sepsis, Respiratory Distress, Pneumonia, Heart Failure, and Stroke.
Utilize IV starts, telemetry, and titration of cardiac drips.
Manage feeding tubes, heparin protocols, and PCA.
Serve as a member of the Rapid Response Team.
Float to Med-Surg as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience.
ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
NIHSS certification preferred.
Ability to pass EKG testing prior to start.
