About This Role
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Pre-Op/PACU unit at Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital, you will provide exceptional patient care in both pre- and post-anesthesia care settings. Facility: South Pointe Hospital
Schedule: Part-time, Day shift
What You'll Do
Complete nursing assessments.
Obtain vital signs.
Insert IVs.
Administer medications.
Provide direct nursing care.
Implement and monitor patient care plans.
Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
Education
Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program) required.
Experience
One year of current acute care RN experience or military RN experience required.
Licenses & Certifications
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Basic Life Support certification (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross required.
