RN Registered Nurse Unit Manager Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced RN Registered Nurse Unit Manager to join our team at Greene Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a 120-bed facility located in Catskill, NY. As a Unit Manager, you will play a critical role in leading our nursing team to provide high-quality care to our residents. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with a competitive salary.

RN Registered Nurse Unit Manager Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and guidance to a team of licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants in a fast-paced post-acute care setting

Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, ensuring comprehensive and timely care

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to deliver holistic care

Conduct regular rounds to ensure resident needs are met, and address any concerns or issues that arise

Develop and manage nursing budgets, ordering supplies and equipment as needed

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, Joint Commission standards, and company policies

RN Registered Nurse Unit Manager Requirements:

Current RN license in the state of New York

Prior experience in long-term care or post-acute care

Strong communication and leadership skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions

Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records
