RN Unit Manager$7500 Sign on BONUS$90,000-$95,000 (Negotiable)Position Overview:We are seeking an RN Unit Manager to join our team at The Mohawk Valley Care Center Rehabilitation and Nursing. In this leadership role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our Rehab Unit, ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of care. You will mentor staff, enforce policies, and ensure the unit functions efficiently while providing the best care for our residents.Key Responsibilities:Supervise nursing staff and manage unit operations.Develop, implement, and enforce employee policies and procedures to ensure efficient and compliant care delivery.Mentor and support less experienced nurses, offering clinical guidance and career development advice.Establish and uphold standards of care for the unit to ensure resident safety and well-being.Review resident records and monitor the quality of care provided to ensure accurate and effective treatment plans.Conduct case reviews and ensure that individualized care plans are consistently followed.Address inquiries and concerns from residents and their families in a timely and professional manner.Ensure the unit is adequately stocked with necessary medical supplies to prevent shortages and ensure smooth operations.Advocate for the unit's interests to upper management and collaborate in addressing issues as needed.Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care (preferred).At least 1 year of experience in a Unit Manager role (preferred) on a Rehab Unit.Valid RN License required.Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.What We Offer:Stable opportunity with a wide range of experiences to further develop your career.Competitive weekly pay with multiple bonus opportunities, including sign-on and referral bonuses.Comprehensive benefits package, including:401kGenerous paid time off (PTO)Health Insurance (Health, Vision, and Dental)Healthy work-life balanceSupportive leadership and friendly colleagues to help you along the way.Application Process:If you are a compassionate leader with a passion for improving the lives of residents, we invite you to apply for the RN Unit Manager position.
