Job description
An exciting contract opportunity awaits a skilled Occupational Therapist passionate about making a difference in the school setting. This full-time leave coverage role begins as soon as possible and extends through the end of November, supporting students in both elementary and middle school grade levels. As a valued member of a collaborative educational environment, you'll empower young learners to reach their fullest potential while working alongside dedicated educators and support staff.
Desired Qualifications:
Hold a current Occupational Therapist license for the state of Ohio
Possess valid ODE certification
Experience working in a school-based setting, providing services to elementary and/or middle school students
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and school teams
Ability to adapt therapy techniques to suit a diverse caseload
Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students according to individual education plans (IEPs)
Develop and implement appropriate intervention plans to address students' fine motor, sensory processing, and functional needs
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, providing input and recommendations for student success
Maintain thorough and timely documentation for all direct and indirect services
Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create an inclusive learning environment and support students' educational goals
