Job description
Step into a fulfilling contract position as a School Psychologist, providing critical support for K-12 students in a vibrant educational environment. This in-person opportunity is a full-time, 36-hour per week backfill role, making it ideal for professionals who excel at fostering student success while collaborating closely with educational teams.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
Prior experience working with K-12 students
Proficiency with psychological assessments, data interpretation, and interventions in a school setting
Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
Virtual experience is required; candidates with prior VOCO experience and onboarding are strongly preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Commitment to ethical, evidence-based practices
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and deliver timely, accurate assessments for students identified with a range of academic, social, behavioral, or emotional needs
Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies
Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams
Consult with educators and caregivers to create supportive learning environments
Provide crisis intervention and counseling as necessary
Keep thorough, confidential records in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations

Compensation for this position ranges from $34.46 to $64.46.
