Security Guard - PT/NightsHealdsburg, Ca - 95448Join the Award-Winning Armorous Family!Join a company that was voted Best Security Company in the North Bay in 2025 and took 1st place for Best Place to Work in the 2026 North Bay Biz Best of the North Bay, making this the perfect time to join our growing team!Security Officer, Winery Production FacilityLocation: Healdsburg, CA | Type: Unarmed | Assignment: Full TimeJob Description:As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for safeguarding properties, deterring criminal activity, and ensuring the safety of businesses, construction sites, and residential communities, etc. Your role requires vigilance, strong decision-making, and excellent communication skills to handle security incidents effectively. This assignment supports gate access control and camera monitoring for a working production site. Two officers are scheduled per shift, and duties rotate between them. One officer manages gate access and completes a facility patrol, and the other monitors camera systems and clears motion activated alerts. You will rotate through both responsibilities. If you are alert, dependable, and comfortable holding a post through the overnight hours, this role is built for you. This role includes conducting regular patrols, preventing unauthorized access, and ensuring all areas of the site remain secure at all times.Shifts:Wednesday - 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Thursday - 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM 16 hours per week + Opportunity for additional shiftsCompensation:$21.00 per hourSecurity Guard Responsibilities:Conduct routine patrols to monitor and secure designated locations.Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and unauthorized access.Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety.Respond swiftly to incidents and provide support in emergency situations.Document daily activity, incidents, and observations accurately in reports.Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding security updates and concerns.Control gate access, verifying and admitting only authorized individuals and vehiclesConduct a facility patrol that takes approximately two hours to completeMonitor for unauthorized access, unsafe conditions, or property concerns during patrolComplete accurate written reports for every shiftWhen assigned to camera monitoring: Monitor camera systems covering both the local site and other company facilitiesReview and clear motion-activated alerts promptlyDocument any activity that requires follow-upSecurity Guard Qualifications:Valid BSIS Guard Card (required).Current with BSIS Compliance i.e: 8-Hour Initial Training Certificate32-hour continuing education certificatesValid Drivers LicenseClean driving record and ability to operate company/site vehicles safely.Availability to work the assigned schedule: Friday through Tuesday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AMExperience working graveyard shifts.Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.Physical demands include standing or walking continuously for up to 60 minutes and cumulatively up to six hours per shiftPhysical demands also include sitting continuously for up to 60 minutes and cumulatively up to six hours per shift, depending on the assigned dutyFoot patrols cover indoor and outdoor surfaces, including stairs, ramps, parking areas, and uneven terrainThe role requires bending, reaching, climbing stairs, and entering or exiting a vehicle as neededYou may be required to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 25 poundsAbility to remain alert, responsive, and proactive in high-pressure situations.Preferred QualificationsPrior retail experiencePrior security experience, particularly in access control or camera monitoringComfort working overnight hours in an industrial or production settingWhy Join Armorous?Award-Winning Company – Voted Best Security Company in the North Bay in 2025! 1st Place, Best Place to Work, 2026 North Bay Biz Best of the North Bay Competitive Pay – Weekly direct deposit.
