As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government corrections location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional service and communication while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $21.50 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 05:45 AM - 06:00 PMTue 05:45 AM - 06:00 PMWed 05:45 AM - 06:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy violations according to site procedures.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with onsite personnel and public-service agencies when appropriate.Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.An armed guard card or license is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
