As an Armed Security Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and armed credentials. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where a caring culture puts people first and teamwork and integrity guide every shift.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $40.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeMon 12:00 AM - 08:00 AMTue 12:00 AM - 08:00 AMWed 12:00 AM - 08:00 AMThur 12:00 AM - 08:00 AMFri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate activity logs and/or incident reports.Report observed hazards, maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to the appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.Minimum Requirements:Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.Possess an armed guard card or license.Possess a 40 caliber endorsement.Possess a California weapons permit with a 9mm caliber endorsement.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
