Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour
Job Schedule:
Day Time Wed 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM Sat 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or authorized personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related responsibilities within a government corrections environment.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeters, entrances, and/or parking areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and emergency response procedures.
Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, exit, and movement through assigned areas; document visitor activity, incidents, and observations in required reports.
Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and perform duties in accordance with applicable laws, policies, training, and Allied Universal procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
