As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting site operations. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity guide every shift.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $23.00 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients at a utilities location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of utility facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site requirements.Prepare accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.Minimum Requirements:Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.CPR certification is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
