Job Description
As a Security Officer Beechnut Stin Houston, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving role requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification. What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients and retail location visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, observe activity within assigned areas, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Prepare clear and accurate reports related to incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security experience.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
