Security Officer - Credential CheckAs a Security Officer - Credential Check in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and credentials, monitor access activity, and provide exceptional customer service to employees and visitors. You will maintain a professional presence, communicate clearly, and help deter security-related incidents while supporting a collaborative workplace. Join Allied Universal, where agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity guide every shift.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $19.00 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 07:00 AM - 03:30 PMTue 07:00 AM - 03:30 PMFri 07:00 AM - 03:30 PMSat 07:00 AM - 03:30 PMSun 07:00 AM - 03:30 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.Control access to the location by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorizations, and contractor check-in requirements in accordance with site-specific procedures.Monitor entry points, access control systems, and visitor activity; maintain accurate logs and report access-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols of building entrances, perimeter areas, and designated access points to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.Minimum Requirements:Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
