Security Officer DoD Security Clearance PatrolAs a Security Officer DoD Security Clearance Patrol in Lorton, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with personnel and visitors, and support access control operations. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity come first.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $26.92 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 08:00 AM - 04:00 PMTue 08:00 AM - 04:00 PMWed 08:00 AM - 04:00 PMThur 08:00 AM - 04:00 PMFri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or guests at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report irregularities or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately in required logs and reports.Minimum Requirements:Possess three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.Access control and badge experience is preferred.CPR certification is preferred.CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
