Tactical Security OfficerGardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Tactical Security Officer! Ready to suit up as a Security Guard Hiring Bonus! What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly. As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential, as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.What's in it for you:Site Location: Madison, WI 53704Part-time, Thursday and Friday, 2nd shift 4 p.m. to 12 a.m.Part-time, Monday and Tuesday, 3rd shift 12 a.m. to 8 a.m.Full-time, Sunday through Thursday, 1st shift 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.Full-time, Friday and Saturday, 1st shift 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday and Monday, 2nd shift 4 p.m. to 12 a.m.Competitive hourly wage of $18/Hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)A comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions, paid time off (PTO) policy, paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance optionsCareer growth opportunities at GardaWorldUniform provided at no costResponsibilities of Tactical Security Guard:Foot patrols/Mobile patrols sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activityRadio communicationLocking and unlocking buildings, depending on site requirementsVerify identities and control access to secure areasReact quickly to threats or incidentsCheck the proper functioning of alarms and camerasDocument incidents and actions takenRespond to alarms and conduct on-site checksCollaborate with law enforcement during serious incidentsEnsure the safety and protection of individuals and propertyQualifications of Tactical Security Guard:Be authorized to work in the U.S.Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GEDBe able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening processFirst aid certification is an assetAbility to stand and walk for the entire shiftIf you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!You have a state license if requiredIn the United States, GardaWorld Security remains the only guarding security company to be Certified by Great Place to Work.
