At United Security, strong performance is noticed and rewarded, with opportunities for more consistent scheduling, increased hours, pay advancement, and potential eligibility for full-time positions and benefits.Security Officer / Fire Guard Job Responsibilities:Provide a welcoming environment and provide needed services for guestsIn the event of a fire, call the Fire Department (911) and begin an orderly evacuation.Perform a variety of security checks and follow post orders as directed by the establishmentKeep all standpipes, hose connections, fire extinguishers (and other fire equipment) identified, unobstructed and in working order.Investigate incidents and create reports by recording observations, occurrences, and surveillance activitiesHave a professional appearance and demeanorOther responsibilities may applySecurity Officer / Fire Guard Requirements:PERC Card requiredFire Guard CertificationWillingness to submit to a background checkClean and professional appearanceFlexible availabilityAbility to stand up and walk for 8 hoursSecurity Officer / Fire Guard Preferred Qualifications:Security experienceEx-law enforcementMilitary serviceSuitable candidates will be contacted to come to our office for in-person interviews.United Service Companies is committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity and inclusion.
